Former US President Donald Trump has vowed to launch a corruption investigation into current leader Joe Biden.
Trump made the announcement during a speech to his supporters at a rally in Conroe, Texas.
The ex-president said the investigation would begin as soon as Congress returned to Republican control.
He expressed hope that members of the Republican Party will receive a majority in the House of Representatives and the US Senate in the midterm elections, which will be held on 8 November.
