He reached the <a href=\"http:\/\/fja.gov.pk\/\">Federal Judicial Academy<\/a> from the airport. Former PM\u2019s squad and Islamabad mayor reached the airport to escort them to the court.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the court adjourned hearing till 1pm until the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Islamabad_High_Court\">Islamabad High Court<\/a> gives ruling on clubbing the corruption references, Nawaz Sharif reached <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Punjab,_Pakistan\">Punjab<\/a> house. Judge Muhammed Bashir ordered that copy of High Court ruling should be faxed as soon as the court gives its verdict.<\/p>\n<p>As today\u2019s proceedings began, Nawaz\u2019s counsel <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lakeertv.com\/intense-fight-lawyer-khawaja-harris-nab-prosecutor\/\">Khawaja Harris<\/a> said the IHC will announce its verdict on their plea to club the three corruption references against <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sharif_family\">Sharif family<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He pleaded the court to adjourn the hearing until the high court\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n<p>Several leaders of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pakistan_Muslim_League_(N)\">Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pakistan_Muslim_League_(N)\">PML-N<\/a>) arrived at the Accountability Court to welcome Nawaz Sharif.<\/p>\n<p>It is pertinent to note here that Nawaz Sharif is involved in references regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/lesliegarfield.com\/properties\/international\/rental\/avenfield-house\">Avenfield<\/a> properties, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mesteel.com\/cgi-bin\/w3-msql\/show_comp.htm?fa=1&amp;company_id=ASCO\">Azizia Steel Mills<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/flagshipinvestments.com.au\/\">Flagship Investment<\/a>; however, his daughter and her husband are named in reference regarding Avenfield properties alone.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Accountability_Bureau\">National Accountability Bureau<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nab.gov.pk\/\">NAB<\/a>) had filed three references against Sharif family members related to the Avenfield property, Flagship Investment, Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Offshore companies in compliance with the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Supreme_Court_of_Pakistan\">Supreme Court<\/a> orders in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Panama_Papers\">Panama Papers<\/a> case.<\/p>\n<p>The NAB court yesterday adjourned the hearing of Al-Aziza reference against Nawaz Sharif till Tuesday due to <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Faizabad_Interchange\">Faizabad<\/a> sit-in.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources, the statement of NAB prosecutor\u2018s witness <a href=\"http:\/\/rozetv.com\/nab-references-nawaz-appear-accountability-court-today\/\">Malik Tayyab<\/a> will be recorded in Al-Aziza reference. Meantime, two witnesses of the prosecution \u2013<a href=\"http:\/\/rozetv.com\/nab-references-nawaz-appear-accountability-court-today\/\">Mukhtar<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/rozetv.com\/nab-references-nawaz-appear-accountability-court-today\/\">Umar Daraz<\/a>, will give their statements in Avenfield properties and Flagship Investment references.<\/p>\n<p>Mukhtar and Umar Daraz belong to Punjab police. Both of them reached the courtroom before anyone else.<\/p>\n<p>Accountability Court judge Muhammad Bashir will also hear Maryam Nawaz\u2019s plea seeking to change exemption dates from December 5 to January 5, 2018 and Nawaz Sharif\u2019s plea seeking exemption from appearance for one week.<\/p>\n<p>Nawaz Sharif and his daughter had filed applications before the court seeking changing their exemption from appearance in the court period as they wanted to visit <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kulsoom_Nawaz_Sharif\">Kulsoom Nawaz<\/a>, who was under medical treatment in London.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This material belongs to: Samaa.tv.
