Former U.S. President Donald Trump has reached an agreement on bail in an election interference case in Georgia, according to a court document.
Trump will have to pay $10,000 for each of the 12 charges. One more item of the indictment provides for a bail of 80,000 dollars.
In total, he will have to pay 200 thousand dollars.
Trump will be able to post bail in cash or through a surety.
Previously, a Grand Jury in the US state of Georgia indicted former US President Donald Trump. He may be involved in attempts to influence the 2020 election.
In total, the charges include 13 counts, including violation of the law on combating racketeering and corruption, incitement to violate the oath of public servants, conspiracy to forge and submit false documents, and others.
Also accused in the case are former lawyer Rudy Giuliani and ex-assistant Mark Meadows.
The former president believes that the unprecedented level of corruption in the United States is the reason for the searches against him. He also believes that the Democrats do not want him to run in the 2024 presidential election.
The Trump did not say what exactly the investigative actions were connected with, but indicated that FBI agents opened his safe and the estate “is under siege.”
The search lasted about nine hours. Media sources believe that the FBI was looking for classified documents that Trump could have taken from the White House.
