Ukrainian military enlistment office issued fake documents to dodgers

Law enforcement officers in Kyiv have identified a military registration and enlistment office, where dodgers were issued fake certificates of unfitness for military service in order to obtain permission to go abroad.

According to local media, medical workers of the military registration and enlistment offices issued documents to the draft dodgers. The doctors wrote in the documents that the conscripts allegedly underwent long-term treatment for several years. After that, the staff of the military commissariat confirmed the diagnosis and issued certificates.

In exchange, they received 11 thousand dollars.

The investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, law enforcement agencies of Ukraine detained a local deputy who extorted a bribe from military personnel in exchange for the opportunity to stay in the rear.
