Minister of Pakistan: accountability to be held against corrupts to eliminate bribery

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan Friday informed accountability would be held across the commission against all corrupt elements to eliminate the danger of corruption.

The national institutions had been carrying out inquiry against the corrupt elements, he said talking to a separate news channel.

The minister told the Supreme Court had taken notice of false account being used in money laundering and formed a joint investigation team (JIT) to probe the matter.

He said the JIT had published the names of bribe elements in its report and after that their names had been posted in Exit Control List (ECL).

He said if these component were found criminal in their cases then it would be a mega corruption fracas in the country.

Ali Muhammad Khan said all the corruptive elements would be punished as per legislation.
