US Congress considers Trump’s accusation distraction from Biden family corruption case

U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy believes that new Justice Department charges against former President Donald Trump are distracting the public from the investigation of current White House Chief of Staff Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

– We recently learned: Hunter received money from China (which contradicts President Biden’s statement), President Biden spoke with Hunter’s business associates more than 20 times (which contradicts Biden’s earlier statements), Biden’s Justice Department tried to secretly grant Hunter broad immunity (…), and just yesterday a new poll showed that President Trump is without a doubt Biden’s leading political opponent, – McCarthy tweeted.

Today it became known that Trump was accused of spreading inaccurate information about the 2020 elections, as well as an attempt to seize power after the rebellion in the Capitol.

Earlier it was reported that the Biden family received more than 1 million dollars in 17 payments. At the same time, 16 of the 17 payments went through shell companies of Biden, who was serving as vice president at the time.

Previously, Hunter Biden was already in the epicenter of scandals related to drugs, corruption and non-payment of taxes. In April 2021, experts established the authenticity of materials from the laptop of the President’s son, which he left in the workshop, where they found 103 thousand text messages, 154 thousand emails, over 2 thousand photos, allegedly confirming his guilt and involvement in 400 crimes.

On June 20 of this year, Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to two episodes of tax violations, as well as one episode related to gun ownership.

According to CNN, Hunter Biden may be given a suspended sentence.
